Thank you for your interest in our Citizen Science Project with Tetra Easy Balance.

Tetra Easy Balance reduces nitrate and phosphate levels and stabilises important carbonate hardness (KH) and pH water values, resulting in the need for fewer water changes. We would like you to test the results on your freshwater aquariums and share them with us.

Participation is easy;

1. Fill in the form below and the team will send you out some Easy Balance and 6in1 Test Strips.
2. When you receive your package, use a test strip to find the starting values of your tank.
3. Record the results on your data sheet (or use the online version).
4. Add Tetra Easy Balance as per the dosing instructions.
5. Repeat for 10 weeks
6. Send your results to tetra@eu.spectrumbrands.com

Each week we will send you a quick email reminder, and at the end of the trial all data will be passed over to our resident expert Dave Hulse to analyse, along with the results of every other participant. Finally, all the conclusions will be shared with Tetra Advanced Fishkeeper Facebook group. To make recording your results easy, don’t forget the Tetra Aquatics App, available from the app store or google play.

Tetra Easy Balance: Dosage

• Shake well before use. Add 2.5 ml per 10 litres of aquarium water every week.
• Note: The light-coloured denitrifying granules are visible in the product and sink to the bottom of the tank. They are harmless to fish, even if ingested.
• Make sure there is a sufficient supply of oxygen. Tetra EasyBalance is not a tap water conditioner. Use Tetra AquaSafe whenever you add new tap water.

• The Trial is only open for those pre-registered and approved via our Advanced Fish keepers Facebook Group
• One entry per registrant.
• Each valid registrant will receive one 250ml Tetra EasyBalance and one tube of Tetra 6in1 test strips (24 strips total). There will be no substitutions or replacements.
